On December 20, 2022, teachers and students of the specialty 022 Design of the educational programs "Environmental Design" and "Industrial Design" of Cherkasy State Technological University, as part of their technological practice, visited the joint exhibition "Depths of the Soul" by Maria Gvasalia and Oleksandr Porotko in the atmospheric art gallery "Sklad №5". The unique exhibition presents a magical combination of painting and sculpture that awakens special feelings in the depths of the souls of the viewers.
The creative meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, during which the author, a successful graduate of the design department of the CSTU Maria Gvasalia, spoke about the peculiarities of the fluidart technique, a new type of abstract painting, when acrylic paints spread on the canvas using certain techniques, creating amazing color effects.
In addition, the founder of the art space "Sklad №5" Anastasia Gudz-Chornovol told the visitors about the ecological art of driftwood and sculptures by Oleksandr Porotko, an artist from Svitlovodsk. His works are made of wood that has been "hardened" by water, sun, and wind, found by the author on the picturesque shores of the Kremenchuk reservoir.
The author's tour from Maria Gvasalia was fascinating, and the works stopped the flow of time, opening a portal to another dimension.
